Hi all. I was just thinking of for the stander members. sence they can't review there voice mail on the zone, they should aleast should be able to see who sent the voice mail. If they get a new voice mail on zonebbs by phone. I say this cause some people don't go on zbp alot and when they get a new voice mail on zbp, they would love to see who sent the voice mail.

I agree with you. If there's a link that says new voicemail, then we should be able to click on it and be able to see who sent it, not be taken to a premium membership sign-up. Well technically it's not, but I think the way it is now is to try to get you to sign up, which is fine, but I think it would be nice to be able to be able to preview our voicemail before we actually have to listen to it.
That would kick ass for sure!
um, how about just going premium? the thing is, bandwidth etc is going up in price and this site is sure taking up a lot, so how about contributing a bit?
They are all just paying for crappy servis.
Don't have the money for it, and I don't see the bennifits in it. Sure i get to get 2 minutes for an audio profile, and custom messages, but other then that, nothng really good. I like the idea. I don't get on ZBP much, and when I do get voice mail, it'd be nice to see who its from.
In otherwords, what you who think all of the services that you think aren't crappy which are premium want, is for us to make those services free. Here's how I look at it. Either you pay for a membership and see who left you a voicemail and listen to it, or you pay the toll for the phone call in to the system to see who sent it to you. Either way, it's not free, and neither is the bandwidth and server space to store your voicemails. Again, for the trillionthh time, you are paying for the additional services, but you are also paying to support the site.
Fuster Cluck has said it perfectly. You know the differences so either get premium or don't. But if you don't or can't, don't start bitchin' up about the things you can't do. Think of it this way. Some people can afford cars and some can't. You might be walking, but the drivers are paying for the maintenance of the streets.

I think this is a good idea. Well, the part about being able to see who left you a voicemail. Understandably, I wouldn't expect to hear the message on the website unless I pay for a Premium membership. But perhapse, when you click on the link it can at least say that you received a voicemail from (whatever member number) left it. And then it can go on to say that to listen to it, you must log into ZBP, or get a Premium membership to download it. The only extra info everyone would be getting then is to know who the message was from, nothing more. I'm not sure if this what the original poster was trying to suggest, but yeah. Just being able to see who messaged you on ZPB sounds reasonable to me. *smile*
I know this would come in handy for people who may not chat on or log into ZBP as much, for those who had had access to ZBP but for whatever reason cannot access it, or for those who are just curious as to who their message was from. As for me, for example, I did have access to ZBP at one point and used to access it thru my cell phone. But now that I no longer have my phone service and cannot pay for long distance or a Premium membership, I cannot get ZBP for awhile. So for now I have a voicemail waiting. While I'm definitely not asking/expecting to listen to it, if I knew at least who was sending it, I could Private Message that person so we could communicate that way. Other than that, knowing who called would just be a fun and helpful feature to have.
Agreed. What's wrong with just seeing who the message is from? Who wants to download voicemail anyway? *chuckles*
